Brie with Fig Spread & Walnuts

 

1 (1-kilogram) wheel Brie, chilled

1 jar Dalmatian fig spread (or plum spread) - Any good chutney will work
1 cup chopped walnuts
10-12 walnut halves

Crackers or sliced baguette

Slice Brie in half horizontally, creating two rounds.



1.    Spoon fig spread over bottom half of Brie and spread evenly.

2.    Sprinkle with walnuts.

3.    Top with remaining Brie half.

4.    Wrap securely in plastic and chill to set.

5.    Remove plastic, then wrap the prepared chilled torte in foil and bake 10 minutes at 350°F.



Garnish with a dollop of fig spread and walnut halves.
Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.
