   Roasted Broccoli with Red Chile Flakes and Garlic


 

1 large head broccoli (about 4 cups florets)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 clove garlic, grated
½ teaspoon dried red chili flakes

 

1.    Preheat the oven to 500°F.

2.    Mix florets with the olive oil, salt, garlic, and chile flakes and toss to coat.

3.    Spread the seasoned broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet and put it in the preheated oven.

4.    Bake until the edges of the florets are browned and crisp, about 4 minutes.

      Serve hot.
