Rock Climbing
Rock climbing is one of my favorite things. It was cold that morning. I climbed up the backside of the cliff. When I got to the top, I peered over the edge. Chills ran up my spine. It was a long way down. One at a time I saw people walk backwards down the cliff disappearing over the edge. After I was strapped in, I eased myself backwards until I was parallel with the ground. I started walking backwards. I was having fun until I took another step and found nothing to put my foot on. I took my feet off the rock and let myself free-fall down the cliff. My speed decreased until I finally stopped just about the ground. It was a great experience!
