The American Crown lives year-round in Manhattan Beach; however, they don't often perch in the jacaranda in my backyard. This one did just outside of my bedroom window. I usually see them flying overhead or congregating together in the eucalyptus tree in my neighbor's backyard. They are very social and intelligent animals.
