Ginger Dipping Sauce
2 tablespoons butter
2 green onions
chopped
½ teaspoon minced
ginger
3 tablespoons mango
chutney
1/3 cup Marsala wine
¾ cups chicken broth
¾ cups whipping cream
1 tablespoon
crystallized ginger, chopped
1. Cook onions in butter.
2. Add ginger, chutney,
wine, and broth. Cook until reduces by half.
3. Add whipping cream and
bring to boil. Stir until mixture is reduced to 1-1½ cups.
4. Pour into serving bowl
and top with chopped crystallized ginger.
Serve with bread
sticks, celery, or other crisp vegetables. Excellent with chicken or pork
strips.
