Melon with Sherbet 


1 cantaloupe melon
1 honeydew melon
1 pint orange or lime sherbet
Mint sprigs (optional)

 

1. Cut melons in half and scoop out seeds.
2. Using a melon baller, scoop 5 balls from rim of each melon half.
3. Place orange balls in hollows of green melons.
4. Place green balls in hollows of orange melons.
5. Refrigerate.
6. Just before serving, place a scoop of sherbet in the center of each melon half.
7. Garnish with mint sprigs and serve in glass bowls.
