"Why an Osprey?" This was the caption on my Christmas card with this
photograph of an osprey. I don't know ... why not? Ospreys are one of
the largest birds of prey and are found world wide save Antarctica.
Their diet consists of fish.
The last photo
was the first photo of a bird I took with my newly purchased Canon 40 D
camera. My husband, Jerry, and I were in the Back Bay in Newport
Beach, and we spotted this osprey. Whoa ... I was so excited that I
could see such detail with my camera. This was the start of my desire
to photograph birds. I will post more detailed, better shots as I
capture them, but I plan to keep this original photo.
